For couples who’d rather eat cheese than say “cheese!” 🧀

Fun and relaxed wedding photography in Cumbria and beyond

Hey, I'm Lauren!

I’m a super friendly and easy-going wedding photographer based near the beautiful Lake District.

I’ve been capturing weddings and love for 14 years, and I’m against those cheesy/awkward moments that we’ve all experienced before *shudder*

Do you want:

✅ A really fun and memorable day marrying your favourite plus-one?

✅ Photos of your family and guests embarrassing themselves? (usually on the dance-floor after too many shots)

✅ Photos of you and your partner taken in a fun and natural way, without the cringe posing and awkwardness?

✅ A photographer who’s like a friend with a camera?*

*includes terrible dad jokes and banter

Not your parents wedding photographer…

While I love all things 1980s, that’s just not my style when it comes to photographing weddings.

Weddings should be about you and your partner, not the traditions that other people followed just because they felt they ‘had to’.

An awkward hour long couple’s photo-shoot in those classic 1980’s utter cheesy poses? No thanks ❌

Standing awkwardly for an hour so that your gran gets her 100 different mantlepiece group pictures? Not here, ta! 👋

Your wedding photography should be about you and your day, capturing those fun moments and documenting everything you’ve planned.

If you are looking for a non-traditional, fun and alternative wedding photographer, I might just be your gal!

My photography approach is all about having fun, and capturing you at your very best 📸

Or, take a look at some of my most recent weddings! Think colourful wedding photography. I love capturing moments – the belly laughs, the tears, the drunken dancing and love (don’t forget the confetti too!)

LGBTQ+ and inclusive wedding photographer

Love is love! I love photographing LGBTQ+ weddings. Every couple is different, and your wedding should be a safe space for you both to be yourselves. All are welcome here 🏳️‍🌈

I am a proud LGBTQIA+ wedding supplier and ‘neurospicy’ (diagnosed with ADHD at the ripe old age of 30), so inclusivity is very important to me. Inclusivity will always be an ongoing priority in my business, and there is always room to do more.

I celebrate diversity and foster an inclusive environment. I wholeheartedly welcome couples from all walks of life (however you identify or what you’ve experienced) including those who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community or are neurodivergent.

My couple’s unique perspectives and experiences not only enrich my photography but are at the heart of why I do what I do – to capture your love story with authenticity.

“If you’re looking for a wedding photographer or just a photographer for any event, look no further! Lauren is amazing.

“From start to finish she was so easy to deal with, from my worried bride questions leading up to the wedding, to the actual day, she completely put me at ease. She was also a massive help throughout the day with little tips and timings.”
